Description

Putting Emotions Into Motion is a support group for children ages 8-12 who are coping with the death of a loved one.  It includes both small group and large group activities that focus on expressing and coping with grief.  Many of the activities incorporate movement, as this is a powerful coping skill for kids.  We allow time for fun as well as serious discussions about grief because we recognize the importance of showing kids that it is ok to do both.  Meets monthly.  Snack is provided.
